Arkansas Lamp is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the official beginning of their latest warehouse expansion. The $300,000 addition will include 10,000 square feet of high rack storage, allowing expansion of production areas to accommodate increased customer demand and new business opportunities. The addition will increase Arkansas Lamp’s facility to approximately 100,000 square feet.
Arkansas Lamp is a family owned business that was founded in 1972. They manufacture and import decorative lighting, primarily for the Hospitality industry, but also for the US government, medical, multi-family and other commercial applications. They are official preferred suppliers for Best Western Hotels, Choice Hotels, Carlson Hotels, Hilton Hotels and AmericInn and regularly sell to all major branded hotels in the US. Arkansas Lamp is particularly proud of our brand new Made in US LED ceiling lamps and wall lamps that are available in early 2014. These are industry leading products with excellent build quality, extensive life, no maintenance and energy efficient. These lamps represent the future of lighting.
Attending the ceremony from Arkansas Lamp will be Bob Null, CEO, Jeff Null, President and Tom Parker, Plant Manager. Guests will include Van Buren Mayor Bob Freeman, Crawford County Judge John Hall and representatives from Congressman Steve Womack's and Senator John Boozman's offices; along with representatives from the AEDC, the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce.
