Interior Design Firm Consulting and FF&E Procurement
The Customer & History
Carver & Associates offers interior design consulting and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) procurement for hospitality owners and developers worldwide. Its hospitality contract services are far-reaching, with locations in the United States, Mexico, UAE, Saudi Arabia, India and Korea.
For more than 12 years, Carver & Associates has partnered with Arkansas Lighting. The firm purchases branded fixtures that it supplies to hospitality clients, such as Hilton, Marriott and IHG Hotels & Resorts. When its designers want to introduce new designs for boutique hotels or senior living facilities, they trust Arkansas Lighting with custom lighting design requests.
Superior Customer Service
Carver & Associates’ design and purchasing teams stand behind extensive hospitality industry expertise. They work closely with franchises to ensure budgets and design expectations align with property requirements and the target clientele.
The firm is no stranger to high-quality customer service, and it holds Arkansas Lighting to high standards of service as well. Ryan McNure, a senior project manager at Carver & Associates, witnessed Arkansas Lighting’s brand and customer service evolution over more than a decade of partnership.
“It was a fluid change from Arkansas Lamp to Arkansas Lighting,” remembers Ryan. “The emphasis on customer service has changed. Early on when I called, I spoke to a lighting expert but not a customer service expert. Now, Maria is our contact. She’s the perfect liaison between the electrical side and the product purchasing side. She speaks to me in a language I understand.”
Arkansas Lighting rep Liz Hill approached Carver & Associates about a partnership years ago. Ryan says Liz is the type of rep with whom project managers can truly craft a relationship.
“Liz helped grow the relationship immensely,” says Ryan. “I go to Liz for answers. If she doesn’t have the knowledge about a hospitality lighting solution, she connects me with a person who does.”
This level of trust and understanding is the foundation for their collaborative problem-solving. Carver & Associates requires a hospitality company willing and able to work together.
“We know there will be occasional problems — that’s the nature of hospitality procurement,” says Ryan. “The question is: how can we come together and solve them? Arkansas Lighting employees have literally driven product to properties for us when delays caused tight deadlines. Rather than allow the product to arrive late in delivery trucks, they stepped up. They didn’t turn their backs to us. That’s what problem-solving is all about.”

Lately, Carver & Associates’ branded purchasing focuses on projects for Home2 by Hilton, a mid-tier extended-stay hotel with contemporary accommodations. The firm buys branded stock items for Home2 Nashville, including wall-mounted lamps that provide warm, comfortable lighting.
Home2 Pompano Beach
Pendants illuminate Home2 Pompano Beach suites and enhance the way guests experience their home away from home. Guests expect a modern, clean and positive experience, and Carver & Associates selects hospitality lighting that meets their needs.
Table lamps at Home2 Tupelo properties turn dark corners and desks into inviting spaces where guests can relax or get work done. Whether it’s procuring lamps for an industrial, modern or farmhouse aesthetic, Carver & Associates values style and function.
Mutual Respect & Increased Revenue
Over the years, Carver & Associates has grown familiar with Arkansas Lighting’s experts and often thinks of them as an extension of its own team. Consistent work, increased revenue and a strong partnership are benefits enjoyed by both companies.
“Arkansas Lighting is within reach to Carver,” says Ryan. “We’re not just another a number or invoice. It’s about relationships. With that, we both succeed.”
